Q.	Why can't I view media on my PC or laptop?
A.	On some PC's media viewing may be blocked because the security settings on the PC are set to a very high standard which in turn, prevents viewings of a media nature and only allows standard text viewing.
Q.	I have a Microsoft Windows Media player and I still cannot play the videos on my PC
A.	In some cases the Microsoft security settings have disabled the "Active x" feature. To enable the "Active x" to view media.
Q.	How safe are my financial transaction details?
A.	V-Talk does not retain or view any of your details. The transaction to purchase a WEBSTREAM service is dealt directly with the purchaser and our UK Bank.

Q.	Do I have to have Broad Band to operate WEBSTREAM?
A.	WEBSTREAM works on both Broadband and Dial up networks.
Q.	Does V-Talk work on MAC?
A.	Providing the MAC users install the relevant plug-ins the WEBSTREAM Service will operate.
Q.	Do I have to download an encoder before installing the V-Talk software?
A.	Most Pc's have built in encoders that can read and translate information allowing the Streaming software to operate. V-Talk operates using Windows Media, which is common for all Microsoft users. Some Windows packages do not offer this encoder. When downloading the V-Talk software users will be prompted to download and "Run" the encoder if required.
Q.	What is better, WEBSTREAM or a file attachment?
A.	Many people and companies no longer will take the risk to open a file attachment because of virus problems. Many PC's are set (in the PC security section) not to accept file attachments and delete them when they arrive. WEBSTREAM avoids being deleted and is treated as any other email to a PC. Streaming allows heavy video files to play on browsers operating on low and high bandwidth and play quickly and efficiently.

A.	Streaming is a mechanism to deliver content over the Internet in a fast and reliable manner whilst maintaining quality and security. Typically the content being delivered to your PC is divided into sections to reduce file size and delivered seamlessly as one, without file attachments.
Q.	What screen size should I send to my viewers and why is there a choice?
A.	Although the supply of bandwidth is growing around the world, many people do not have access to Broadband or simply do not want or can't afford it. WEBSTREAM can be received on both Broadband and "Dial up" however when viewing a video on dial up the service, the video data is received at a slower speed. To offset this, video can be viewed in a smaller file to be received at a quicker pace. See screen details below.

Q.	Do I have to have a webcam?
A.	Users can supply video content using mobile phones, video cameras Digital cameras or use pre recorded content stored on your PC, however to maximise your WEBSTREAM experience we recommend a web cam should be connected to your PC to enable personal recordings.
Q.	Can I send V-Talk to people who have not purchased a WEBSTREAM service?
A.	You do not have to be a V-Talk customer to receive WEBSTREAM.
Q.	How long does a WEBSTREAM recording last online?
A.	All V-Talk recordings are viewable for 1 year as long as you store . If you wish to send a video production on more than one occasion, The "Online Gallery" saves you time. Users simply upload and compress the video once which means the sending of mail is a much quicker process (Normally within seconds).
Q.	Can I show more than one WEBSTREAM at any one time?
A.	Users may store numerous individual recordings at any time, which will be stored individually (Subject to account status).
Q.	How long does my WEBSTREAM membership with V-Talk last?
A.	Users have up to 1 calendar year with unlimited use to subject to the V-Talk fair trading policy.
Q.	Am I the only person who can use the V-Talk service?
A.	The V-Talk service can be used by anyone who has access to your Login and account details. The user details (Not user name) can be altered when composing mail to send.
Q.	What is meant by inappropriate Content or SPAM?
A.	Content that is explicit offensive, or contains sexual material, or causes annoyance to users and recipients is considered "Offensive". V-Talk reserves the right to terminate any service that in V-Talk's opinion is of any of the above nature. V-Talk decisions are final.
Q.	Is there any legal age limit to use V-Talk?
A.	The V-Talk ranges of products and services have been created for anyone who can use a PC. There are no age restrictions unless stated in law by individual countries.
